Happy Halloween to Everyone, Below are a few pictures from Halloween here in Alpine Texas

Below is a picture of the Moon rising over Alpine Oct 29th 2007. I like how the hiker on the ridge gives perspective to the size of the Moon and to the size of the cactus. A note, the cactus is on the same ridge as the hiker, therefore, the cactus does not appear bigger from being closer to the lens, that truly is a massive cactus on Hancock Hill on the north eastern edge of Alpine. This image was shot at 1200mm.
